120927 A-Pink's Eunji and Naeun to begin roles in musical and drama

Two members of the girl group A-Pink will be broadening their skills by taking on additional acting projects on top of their work with the group. 

Jung Eunji, who has recently gained recognition for her role in "Reply 1997," will take on the lead role of Elle Woods in the musical "Legally Blonde". Meanwhile, Son Naeun will be taking on a role on the JTBC weekend drama "No Children, Better Life".

This will be Naeun's first role on a television drama, but not her last. She will also be appearing on the upcoming drama "Dae Poong Soo" on SBS and in the film "Marrying the Mafia 5".

"Legally Blonde" will open on November 16th at the Hyundai Art Hall at the COEX in southern Seoul. The story follows Elle Woods, a girl who enters Harvard Law School in an attempt to win back her boyfriend. The musical is based off of the 2001 movie of the same title, and first started in 2007. 

"No Children, Better Life" will have Naeun as a high school student who was brought up by her grandmother after the untimely death of her father as a child.
